So now I know that that was baby that I felt last week. I felt it again hard on Thursday. I was having a conversation with my boss & mid sentence got stopped by two hard kicks. lol... Now baby is going a little crazy with the kicking or moving (whatever those movements are). Saturday night we were watching the boxing match between Pacquiao & Mosley at a friend's and baby kicked me literally ten times in a row! Sounds like he or she was into the match. LOL! Now it's a regular occurrence. I'm always like "Woah, baby! What is going on in there?!" hahaha... Well, that's all for tonight. I'll end this with a new belly shot.
Here I am at 18 weeks (last night):
Only 3.5 days to go until we know for sure whether it's a boy or girl! ^_^... CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was that what I thought it was?
Okay, so today I'm 17 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I think I felt the baby move this morning when I was laying in bed after my alarm went off, but was that really the baby or just a figment of my imagination? Maybe I'm psyching myself out because I've been told this is the week when the possibility of me feeling him or her is actually there. Who knows! All I know is that I felt something (just once). It was either the baby or gas. lol... I probably won't know for sure until I feel it again, IF I feel it again!
On to a less-exciting note... exciting for me, but probably not everyone else. lol... We went into Babies R Us this weekend. Oh wow, how overwhelming! I just want to know what I'm having already so I can start shopping for either pinks & purples or blues & greens! We spent our time there looking at furniture and baby gear - strollers, swings, walkers galore!! We already know what travel system and pack 'n' play we're getting, but not the swing yet. We did narrow it down to two choices though!!!! Check them out:
1) Mamaroo Infant Seat
or
2) Graco Sweet Peace Soothing Swing
I personally love the sleek design of the Mamaroo & the features of it, but the Graco is so cute & looks more cozy. We'll see...Well, before I go I just wanted to share with everyone that we find out what we're having in exactly 10 days! YAY!!!! Friday, May 13th we will know whether we're going to have a sweet baby girl or a precious baby boy. Can't wait!

The Bump's Debut!
Here's an update for everyone that has been asking. I finally got a good picture of my belly last week. I had to take advantage of not being bloated. I swear some days I look about 5 or 6 months pregnant due to bloating. lol! So without further a due... here I am at 13 weeks and 4 days.

160 beats per minute?!
Yep. That's what we heard today! Baby's heart was beating in the 160s. I just remember looking over at Kobe & his jaw was on the floor. Mine was right there next to his! lol... Then the doctor said she was going to start the ultrasound. The beginning of the ultrasound was hilarious! She couldn't get the baby to stop moving. He/she was bouncing all over the place with a random arm here & a leg there, doing somersaults and all! I have a feeling Kobe & I are going to have one SUPER HYPER baby. Then as soon as the baby calmed down a bit she was able to see what looked like a teeny little penis. We'll see in 6 weeks whether that prediction was right!
Here's the video of our first ultrasound:

Bring on the cravings... & shopping!
If today was any indication of what Kobe & I might be facing in a few months, Lord help us! lol! I had so many cravings today. First I wanted Chinese. So, Kobe (being the most wonderful boyfriend a girl could ever ask for) went & got me some broccoli beef for lunch. He's such a sweetheart! Then I wanted banana pudding from Buc-ee's so we drove all the way out to Cypress for some. haha! Then while we were there I looked up Fazoli's (a place I used to eat at alllll the time with my favorite Baylor girls in Waco) and we ate at the one in Cypress. What a day! I got all kinds of good food... me & baby were very satisfied. =)
So, while we were at the Galleria earlier we stopped in Baby Gap. OMG!!!! Do they have some cute clothes or what?!
This little girls top was super adorable & they had it on a tiny mannequin with white skinny jeans. Talk about the most precious baby girl outfit I've ever seen!
The boy stuff wasn't as cute. I mean, boys only have so many choices on what to wear compared to little girls. I did find this onesie so amusing though! haha...
Needless to say: whether we have a girl or a boy, that baby will always be dressed to the nines! Can't wait to start shopping!!!

I ammmm your fatherrrr.......
Yo what is is kid? This is K to O be, Kobe. Haha jokes aside...
So today at work, one of my co-workers suggested that I get this book called "What To Expect When You're Expecting". I laughed, I thought he was joking. But, nope, he was telling the truth!! Here it is!!
Anyway, he suggested it, because he claims that 90% of couples that go through their first pregnancy buys this book and reads it. It supposedly have useful information. I thought it was nice of him to suggest it. But then, we went off and made a joke that I rather not say here. lol. Anyway, I think we'll be picking up this book sometime soon. :D

Ahhhh!!!
OH MY! Today was filled with both bad & good experiences. I was upset on the way home from grocery shopping last night & told Kobe "I don't even feel pregnant. I want my belly already." haha!... Well, still no belly this morning. I guess I'll just count my blessings for not being sick & be patient about getting my belly. Anywho... Kobe's been saying that I haven't been myself since Jan 2010 when I quit my old job to start the nursing program. I used to be so independent and lately I've been so needy and dependent on him. So, today I tried to get back in the swing of things and actually got a lot of things done! I went & got my oil changed, went to Auto Zone to buy new windshield wipers, then I went to Mr. Bubbles and vacuumed the crap outta my car and finally went up to the college to pick up my graduation certificate. I was so surprised that they actually put it in a little hard back folder like a real degree & they gave me a "San Jacinto College Alumni" mug... SWEET!
After running all my errands I went and had lunch with my mom and this is when the bad experience begins! We sat there and talked about baby showers, my mom's delivery experiences, and just a lot of baby stuff. Then all of a sudden this pregnant girl gets up and runs toward the rest room (but didn't make it) and threw up like 2 days worth of food allllllll over the dining room! Ahhhh!!!!!!!! I felt so bad for her b/c you could tell she was super embarrassed, but geez! All I could think about was "Thank you lord for being good to me and letting me have an easy pregnancy so far!" Now that the "bad experience" lunch was over, it was time for me to face my greatest fear... NCLEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can get anywhere between 85 to 205 questions. Mine cut off at 158. OMG! All I could think about was "when is this going to be over?" haha! Now that it's over I'm just waiting to find out if I passed or not. Hopefully in two days you'll be reading that I am a LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE! Ok, I'm tired of typing & I want to eat my cinnamon rolls... ta ta for now. =)
